Getting started
6 questionsWhat is Anvida?
Anvida brings together the structure of an evidence-based program and the flexibility of care shaped around you. Grounded in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), it combines daily reflections, personalized practices, and guidance from your licensed clinician. There is a clear framework, with room for your needs, your pace, and what matters most in your life.
What does guided self-help look like?
You make space to reflect, explore practices selected by your clinician, and bring what you learn into everyday life. Your clinician guides the program and reviews your progress. Support includes a monthly written check-in; other plans add more contact, including live sessions with Biweekly and Weekly.
When will I be assigned a clinician?
First, you complete onboarding so we can understand your history and needs. A licensed clinician is assigned before your first reflection day or your live Video Assessment.
Can I start with a conversation instead?
Yes. The $215 Video Assessment begins with a 50-minute live intake and includes a clinician-produced written assessment and plan. You do not need to complete seven reflection days by default, though your clinician may request additional reflection days if more context is needed. If you started with the $147 Reflection Assessment, the upgrade costs the $68 difference.
Is the program structured or personalized?
Both. The ACT framework gives your care a clear foundation. Your clinician uses what you share to choose relevant practices and guide your next steps, rather than taking everyone through the same sequence. You have structure to support you, with flexibility for the person you are and what you need along the way.
Who is behind Anvida?
Anvida was founded by a therapist, with a perspective shaped by clinical work rather than Silicon Valley. Independently built without outside backing, it was created with the freedom to put meaningful benefits for the people using it first.
That purpose shapes the experience: a real relationship with your clinician, evidence-based guidance adapted to your needs, and technology that supports the people providing your care.
Your assessment
5 questionsHow does the Reflection Assessment work?
After onboarding and clinician assignment, you share a daily reflection on seven distinct days in your local time. Your clinician reviews your entries and assessment information to develop your written assessment and personal plan, with a voice walkthrough. They may request additional information or screening; seven reflection days alone do not guarantee enough information for a diagnosis.
Will I receive exercises during the assessment?
No. During assessment, your reflections receive personalized insights to help you understand your experiences. Each reflection adds context about your everyday life so your clinician can prepare a fuller assessment and recommend your next steps. Techniques and exercises may follow after your assessment, when your clinician recommends them. Safety support and necessary clinical follow-up do not wait until the assessment is complete.
Your purchased report and recommendations are yours whether or not you choose ongoing support.
Do my seven reflection days have to be consecutive?
No. Entries need to cover seven different local calendar days. More than one entry on the same date counts as one reflection day. Your onboarding answers do not count toward the seven days.
Do I have to type my entries?
You can write or use speech-to-text. Share your thoughts in the format that feels most natural to you.
When will I receive a response?
Next-morning delivery is the default. You can also choose “Read the reflection now instead” for early access when the response is ready. Both options follow the same safety checks and required clinician review.
Your care & support
6 questionsHow does Anvida use AI?
Your relationship with your clinician is at the heart of Anvida. We use AI in a supporting role to help clinicians organize what you share, prepare summaries, and draft responses or suggest practices for review. Your clinician makes clinical decisions and approves each new practice before it is shared with you. AI-generated responses are clearly identified, so you can distinguish them from personal messages from your clinician.
Who chooses my practices?
After your assessment is complete, your assigned clinician does. Before a new practice reaches you, they review the practice, its fit for you, and the explanation you will receive. Your personal library grows with the practices they have assigned and shared. Previously assigned practices are still checked for current safety and suitability.
What if an explanation doesn’t make sense to me?
Choose “Explain another way” to see a plain-language explanation of the same assigned practice. This does not require another clinician approval. Asking for a different practice is separate: a new assignment needs clinician approval.
Where can I find my assigned techniques?
Open Care → Your techniques. Your personal library contains techniques already assigned and delivered through your reflections or clinician messages. It does not include an unrestricted catalog of unassigned practices.
Will a clinician respond every day?
Clinician contact depends on your plan. Support includes weekly summary review and a monthly written check-in. Connect, Biweekly, and Weekly add messaging with weekday replies and a weekly clinician voice note. Anvida is not monitored around the clock and is not an emergency service.
How do you approach my privacy?
Your personal information is encrypted. Protecting what you share is central to the trust you place in Anvida and your clinician. Privacy and security are core commitments throughout your care, including when technology is used to support your clinician.
Plans & pricing
4 questionsHow much does an assessment cost?
The Reflection Assessment costs $147, paid once at signup. The Video Assessment costs $215. Ongoing care is a separate purchase after your assessment.
What ongoing plans can I choose?
Support is $69/month: daily reflections, morning responses, weekly clinician summary review, and a monthly written check-in. Connect is $129/month and adds clinician messaging with weekday replies and a weekly voice note. Biweekly is $249/month and includes Connect plus two 30-minute video or phone sessions each month. Weekly is $379/month and includes Connect plus four 30-minute sessions each month.
Is quarterly billing available?
Yes. Quarterly billing offers a 10% discount. The billed quarterly totals are $186 for Support, $348 for Connect, $672 for Biweekly, and $1,023 for Weekly.
Are live sessions included in every plan?
No. Support and Connect do not include live sessions. Biweekly includes two 30-minute sessions per month, and Weekly includes four. The Video Assessment is a separate 50-minute intake.
Assessment refunds
5 questionsCan I get a refund for my Reflection Assessment?
A full refund during your 7-day reflection stage, before you submit the reflection for your seventh distinct day and before your clinician produces a diagnostic or assessment report. No questions asked.
The refund window includes onboarding. It closes at the first applicable event: submission of your reflection for your seventh distinct day, the start of a Video Assessment, or production of your clinician’s diagnostic or assessment report.
Is the refund window seven calendar days from purchase?
No. It refers to your seven-day reflection stage, not a seven-calendar-day countdown from purchase. Reading a reflection early does not close the window. If you stop before any cutoff event, assessment refund eligibility remains open.
What is the Video Assessment refund policy?
A full refund before your Video Assessment begins and before your clinician produces a diagnostic or assessment report. No questions asked.
Does receiving my report determine the refund cutoff?
The cutoff is when your clinician produces the diagnostic or assessment report, which may happen before you receive it. A draft alone does not count as a clinician-produced report. Deleting entries or cancelling after a video session has begun does not reopen refund eligibility.
Does this refund promise cover ongoing plans?
The assessment refund promise applies to the initial assessment. Ongoing plans and add-on sessions have separate terms.
If you need urgent help
